Welcome to The Art of Being Human. These Terms of Use apply to all users of our website, online courses, and related services offered through www.theartofbeinghuman.com and hosted learning platforms such as Thinkific.
Agreement to Terms
By registering for any course, checking the box during sign-up, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Use. This confirmation is legally binding and has the same effect as a handwritten signature.
If you are enrolling in the Professional Facilitator of Self-Inquiry (PFSI) program, you also confirm that you have read and agreed to the separate PFSI Participant Agreement.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
By using our site or registering for a course, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Course Access and Usage
When you sign up for one of our courses, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to access the course materials for your own use.
You agree not to:
- Share your login credentials with others
- Reproduce, distribute, or publicly share course content
- Use course materials to create derivative work or teach your own courses without permission
Violation of these terms may result in suspension or termination of your access without refund.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on this site and in our courses—including videos, text, exercises, PDFs, graphics, and guides—is the intellectual property of The Art of Being Human ApS and may not be copied, adapted, or used for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
5. Payment & Refund Policy
Some courses are free; others require payment.
All payments are processed securely through our payment partners. Paid courses are generally non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise on the course registration page.
6. Disclaimers
Our programs are educational in nature. They are not a substitute for psychotherapy, medical treatment, or clinical supervision.
We do not guarantee specific outcomes. By using our materials, you acknowledge that personal results may vary.
7. Technical Access
We strive to keep our website and course platform accessible at all times. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and are not responsible for technical issues beyond our control.

9. Additional Terms for PFSI Participants
If you are enrolled in the Professional Facilitator of Self-Inquiry (PFSI) program, additional terms apply.

By enrolling in the PFSI program, you confirm that you have read and agreed to those terms.
10. Amendments
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
12. Program Independence
The Art of Being Human ApS is an independent entity. While our work may draw on principles from The Work of Byron Katie and Compassionate Inquiry, our programs are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially associated with Byron Katie International, Inc. or Dr. Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry organization.
